5 Grandmothers will be on island this weekend. On Saturday, events will start at the Community Center at 10 a.m. with welcome ceremony, Maori songs and dances, and a luncheon.
Moving to the library after lunch, Mayan Floredemayo will explain her role as seed keeper. Participants will also make seed bundles.
